Ancient Shoe Games, Mazes, Crafts and More...
The 5,500 year shoe that continues to Inspire... fun!
Dear Classical Wisdom Kids,
This week’s Kids Club activities are inspired by the ancient shoe found in Armenia. What I thought was so cool about it was just how modern it could be! But also, that us humans have had the same needs for thousands and thousands and thousands of years. Turns out, ancient folks didn’t like cutting up their feet either - who knew??
If you didn’t get a chance to learn this super cool shoe, watch Owly’s video here:
All caught up? Now onto today’s games, mazes, and more...
We have worksheets, crafts, and research activities - perfect for individuals or groups that are needing some downtime while learning vocabulary - as well as more physical games for little ones who need to stretch their growing limbs.
Added benefit, they reinforce fine motor/life skills as well as group cooperation!
Please let us know which were your favorite activities… we love to hear from you. Also, watch your inbox for Frida’s next postcard... from the city where the streets are made of water!
All the best,

A-MAZE-ing Find!
(Printable worksheet)
The team of archeologists in Armenia unearthed the world’s oldest leather shoe, which they found buried in a cave - packed and preserved - under a floor of sheep dung. They came upon an amazing find, to say the least!
See if you too can be amazing by helping them find the way to the ancient Areni-1 shoe. Just remember after digging up the shoe to wash the dung off your hands!
Time to Size Up Your Friends
(Ice breaker game)
Now for a quiet group game, that is a shoe-in to delight.
