If you are just joining us, may we suggest you read Frida’s wonderful postcards about The Judgment of Paris, The Wooden Horse, and The Odyssey Begins… 

Postcard Plays

One group of Classical Kids enjoys acting out Frida’s postcards. They say it is great fun. Give it a try! 

Choose one person/player to be the narrator. The other players will act as audience members and performers. The narrator will stand off to the side as they read Frida’s postcard(s) aloud. The performers will put Frida’s words into action, acting out what is being read. 

This form of acting will help the children retain what is being read, as well as engage in the text/story. The performers can be given specific roles, or invited to act out the postcard(s) as a group, having each performer act out the same detailed descriptions, simultaneously.
